Simone Biles

Simone Biles is an American gymnast. Born March 14th of 1997 in Columbus Ohio U.S.A. She was the first American female gymnast in history to win four gold medals at only one Games. In Rio de Janeiro, she was also the first woman to ever win consecutive World All-around Titles (2013-15). Biles lived in Spring Texas in the Houston metropolitan area following the time she and her twin sister Adria were adopted by their parents Ronald and Nellie Biles. Simone initially became interested in gymnastics when she was just six. Coach Aimee Borman took Biles to Bannon's Gymnastix and they took them on a field excursion. Biles had a great time in the floor and vault at the 2009 Women's Junior Olympic National Championships before becoming an high-level competitions in 2011. Within less than two years she became the most dominant athlete in her field. Biles's consistent, exuberant character and her high level of difficulty in the four events she competed in -- vault uneven bars balance beam floor exercise as well as floor exercise -- made her apart.
