Andrea Maria Jeremiah has worked as an actress or musician as well as playback vocalist in Tamil films and Malayalam film. Annayum's Rasoolum has marked her Malayalam as well as Tamil acting debuts. Andrea Jeremiah was born to a Anglo-Indian family at Arakkonam Tamil Nadu.Andrea's father is a lawyer at the Madras High Court. Her younger sister is a research assistant from Belgium and is employed in Leuven. Jeremiah was brought up within Chennai. He attended National Public School. After the completion of his studies, he attended Women's Christian College. Andrea started studying classical piano at the age of eight. Andrea was a huge enthusiast who aspired to become a psychiatrist. She sang in the Jackson Five style troupe Young Stars aged 10. It was this group that shaped her singing and music composition career. She also worked as an actor in the college. She was President of Women's College's Student Senate. Andrea's acting career began with Girishkarnad Nagamandala. In 2006, her role in the new leo Coffee advertisement was in the role of Shiva. The actress also appeared in a television show that airs on Podhigai. She acted throughout India. There was a brief appearance in the Kanda Mudhal finale (2005). Following her performance of a song in Gautham Vasudev Menon's Vettaiyaadu he asked her to play as the main female characters in his next project Pachaikili Muthucharam.
